Our açaí grows wild on palms along the rivers of the Amazon. Here, the berries are harvested by local families who have known the fruit for generations. They are picked by hand, high up in the crown of the palms. Fresh açaí berries only keep for a few hours, so they are pulped, pasteurised and frozen close to where they were harvested, by a producer with more than 30 years of experience.
From there, it travels frozen and directly to our warehouse in Copenhagen. No middlemen, and the flavour stays intact from the river to your kitchen.
“Where the rivers meet the rainforest, our açaí grows.”
