Product and quality
Which products do you offer?
Our best-selling product, classic açaí purée, is always in stock in Denmark. It comes in practical 100 g portion pouches, with 64 pouches per case (6.4 kg). We also offer açaí sorbet, açaí ice cream, IQF pellets, ice lollies and a wide range of Amazonian and Brazilian fruit purées, which we order in as needed.
Where does your açaí come from?
Our açaí comes from the Amazon region of Brazil. It is produced by one of Brazil's leading açaí producers and is pasteurised and frozen at source.
What's in your açaí purée?
Just three ingredients: açaí, water and citric acid. No added sugar and no additives.
What is the shelf life?
The açaí purée keeps for 36 months from the production date when stored at -18 °C. All our products are stored at -18 °C.
Can the purée be used thawed?
No. The purée is made to be used straight from frozen. That gives you the right consistency and the best flavour in your bowl.
Which certifications do the products have?
Our producer is certified to FSSC 22000 and holds Halal, Kosher and Non-GMO Project Verified certification. The products are gluten-free, lactose-free and 100% vegan.
Ordering
What is the minimum order?
You can order from 1 case of 6.4 kg. Sample packs for tastings and demonstrations can be arranged separately.
How much do your products cost?
The price depends on volume. Get in touch and we'll send you a quote that matches your usage.
Can I order products that aren't in stock in Denmark?
Yes. The whole range can be ordered, usually with delivery within 1 week of ordering. We handle everything from import to documentation, so all you have to do is receive the goods.
How many bowls does one case make?
A case of 64 pouches makes 32 bowls when you follow our recipe for an authentic açaí bowl.
What are your payment terms?
14 days net.
Delivery
Where do you deliver?
We deliver in Copenhagen and the surrounding area. For larger orders of at least 1 pallet, we deliver anywhere in Denmark. Contact us for a quote on the products you need.
Can I collect the goods myself?
Yes. By appointment, you can collect free of charge from our warehouse in Hvidovre.
Can I get regular deliveries?
Yes. We're happy to agree a fixed delivery schedule that matches your usage.
How do you protect quality during transport?
Our products travel in an unbroken frozen chain all the way from production to delivery. All our freight partners are trained in handling frozen goods.
Operations and support
How do I get started with açaí on my menu?
All customers in Copenhagen and the surrounding area get an in-person product demonstration. Customers in the rest of Denmark receive a guide on how to use the product.
Do you offer training?
Yes, free of charge for all customers. We train your team to make the perfect açaí bowl every time, so the quality is always top-notch.
Do you sell soft-serve machines?
Yes. Our soft-serve machines can be bought and delivered within 1 week of ordering. They are a perfect match for our açaí sorbet. We've tested this ourselves, so you get a complete setup that works from day one.Read more about the machine →
Do you help with marketing?
We offer limited advice on marketing the products, as needed.

Are you registered with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration?
Yes. Gorilla Health ApS is registered as a wholesale food business with the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration (Fødevarestyrelsen).
